今号の『VoidTokyo Vol.9』は、Japan-Korea Special Editionとして、2024年に韓国仁川のヘドゥン美術館で開催された韓日交流展「路上のパロル」、さらに2025年3月に日本の銀座ヒコヒコギャラリーにて開催中の「INTERSECTIONS」を記念して刊行された特別版です。この号は、深まりゆく日韓の交流を祝福する意味を込めて刊行されます。

韓国での展示会では、ストリート写真家、ジャーナリスト、ドキュメンタリー写真家など異なるバックグラウンドを持つ両国の写真家たちが、路上で交差する新たな視点を共有し、文化の架け橋となる数々の作品が展示されました。本号では、その成果を継承し、日韓両国の写真家たちの豊かで多彩なストリート写真における表現を一冊にまとめています。

VoidTokyo Vol.9, as a Japan-Korea Special Edition, commemorates two exhibitions: the Korea-Japan exchange exhibition 'Parole on the Street' held at Haeden Museum of Art in Incheon, Korea in 2024, and 'Intersections' to be held at HikoHiko Gallery in Ginza, Japan in March 2025.

This volume is published to celebrate the deepening exchange between Japan and Korea. 

At the exhibition in Korea, photographers from both countries with different backgrounds—street photographers, journalists, and documentary photographers—shared new perspectives intersecting on the streets, showcasing numerous works that served as cultural bridges.

This volume inherits these achievements, bringing together the rich and diverse street photography expressions of photographers from both Japan and Korea in one collection.
